CRDA clears Rs 109.96 cr for Quantum Valley buildings

Amaravati: Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development P. Narayana on Monday said the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has sanctioned Rs.109.96 crore for construction of buildings for the Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV) buildings, India’s first exclusive quantum technology park to build a complete ecosystem with the technology, R&D, software, computer manufacturing.

He told the media here that for construction of two buildings in Quantum Valley Rs103.96 crore is sanctioned. For interior works of IAS buildings, Rs109 crore will be released. He said CRDA administrative expenditure is put at Rs100 crore.

The Minister said the government on the directive of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has decided to initiate measures to avoid flooding in the capital city.

For LPS works in Zone 8, Rs1,358 crore has been sanctioned. Narayana, gave details of the 56th CRDA y meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naidu. The Chief Minister ordered the construction of two buildings of AQV with 43,000 square feet on a war-footing as the quantum computing equipment will reach Amaravati soon. Narayana said that the tender for the construction of buildings has been called and L1 is also finalised.
